As the head of Concentrix South Africa, a global leader in customer experience (CX) solutions and technology, Jason is steering one of the country’s fastest-growing industries into a transformative new era. Originally from New Zealand, and now based in KwaZulu-Natal, Jason is a seasoned general manager with extensive global experience in leading large scale contact centres and operations. His expertise in driving innovation and growth is evident across his teams, propelling Concentrix South Africa to new heights.
Jason believes that outsourcing is no longer just about cost efficiency – it’s also about capability and competitiveness. “We apply both human and non-human capability to help solve complex problems for our international clients. That means combining advanced technology like AI with South Africa’s world-class human talent to deliver extraordinary customer journeys,” he explains.
The integrated business solutions industry is driven by pillars of innovation, inclusion and global confidence. “Traditionally, these roles have been perceived as entry-level call centre jobs. However, the reality is quite different. In Cape Town alone, we’ve got thousands of individuals working with AI every day, positioning themselves at the frontlines of innovation,” he says.
