Through our work with these SPVs, we are driving business growth, creating jobs, and equipping residents with the skills needed to thrive in key industries. This is the kind of progress that builds a stronger, more inclusive economy for all,\u2019 said Alderman James Vos, Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2024 in numbers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R\u00a06 445 489 930\u00a0in investments secured<\/li>\n<li>15 763 jobs were created in sectors including BPO, technology, renewable energy, and clothing and textile manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>2 987 people trained to meet industry demands and equip residents for meaningful employment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018SPVs, funded by the City, are instrumental in driving growth in these sectors.
