A conducive business environment and a responsive government are the necessary preconditions to achieving business growth and increased economic activity. The City’s Ease of Doing Business approach and philosophy is underpinned by a number of components, which include; reducing redtape, streamlining business processes, promoting the customer-centric culture, and modernising systems for improved customer experience. For our performance and rankings to be real and meaningful, the views and perceptions of businesses – as our stakeholders – is key in shaping the reform agenda.

The Business Satisfaction Survey aims to solicit our stakeholder views, informed by their experiences and perceptions of the City and the services we provide. Both informal and formal businesses have been invited to participate in this Survey, and if you would like to participate and share your views, please contact our team via info@investcapetown.com.

Linked to this, there will be an opportunity to engage further with the City through the recently launched ideas management platform online portal, called the Collaboration Platform, managed by the Department of Organisational Effectiveness and Innovation. The insights and ideas received from the survey will be discussed in detail via this platform, everyone is invited to register here and participate in these forum discussions.
